"About Me" Swap

Robin is hosting an "About Me" swap. A swap to share some info about yourself with your fellow scrappers.

I so cant wait to get this swap back and learn a little more about my on-line scrappy friends.

I kept mine pretty simple (of course) .. I used this fantastic glitter paper I received from V :-) I stamped and embossed swirls on the side ... added some bling. I used some rock candy on the flower .. thx for the tip Dolly ;-)

Christmas Card

Saw a card similar to this on Splitcoast .. I like the concept of the card but I think I will re-do it and stamp the Season's Greeting and place it in the lower left somewhere .. I think it does not pop in this card .. off to re-do .. thx for looking though - lol

Trish's "NON Traditional Christmas Card Challenge"

Here is the card I made for Trish's "NON Traditional Christmas Card Challenge".

We were to think outside the colors of red, green, white, and blue, however, they could be used as an accent color.

Now, I can here Trish laughing her ass off at me already. She knows I dont like change. LOL. This was the best I could do.

Gloria's Christmas Cooksheet Calendar Swap

I have #12 & #24 for Gloria's swap.

I originally did the Santa hats for the 24th and the chimney ones for #12. Trish pointed out that the chimney one would make more sense for the 24th due to the fact that santa is going down the chimney and well that is what happens on the December 24th .. lol.

I ended up redoing the 24th so that the chimney ones were for the 24th. However considering I already did all the santa hat ones I decided to include them with the swap. So everyone is getting 2 #24's 'cause I just couldn't throw them out.

Anyhoo .. I hope everyone likes them :-)

Bday Card

A lady at work liked the card I made for Rob's bday .. she asked if I would make one for her daughters 15th bday.

I added some glimmer mist. Her daughter loves black and pink. I want to add a necklace on the inside .. something with a heart or a V (her name is Victoria) what I have here is silver and is not looking good so I will look around tomorrow to see if I can find something that will work.

Austin's Birthday Card

Here is a card I made for Austin's 5th (Christine's son) birthday. He loves cars so when I saw this lazer cut wooden car at M's I had to grab it. I used liquid glass on the car to make it shine. I used tin foil for the background and embossed it with the cuttlebug.


Looking at the pics now I wish I had taken an after shot of the car before I glued it onto the card.

Sympathy Card

I made this card for a lady at work who's mother in law passed away last week.

I sprayed the pink with glimmer mist but unfortunately you cant tell from this picture .. it looks very pretty IRL.
