Grandma & Jayson

So, I am sending some pics out to my cousin from my grandma's stash.

My Grandma & Jayson were pretty close. However, he had moved away to BC and the family was not in touch with him for a long time. He didnt know grandma was sick and therefore, didn't get to see/speak to her before she passed away. He found out months and months later. I felt so bad he didn't know or get to say goodbye. Now, we have re-connected on Facebook and I am going to finally be able to send the pictures to him. Before I do I wanted to do something nice for him. This was the only picture I could find of them together.

I am hoping to get this out in the mail to him this coming week.

I sure hope he likes it :-)

Oh ya, and today is Jan 1/10 so it is the beginning of 365 projects in 365 days. Off to a good start :-)

2010 is going to be the year I get my scrap on!!!!!

I spend more time shopping for scrappy stuff then I do using it ..
I spend more time looking at others peoples projects then my own ..
I spend more time thinking about scrapbooking then actually doing ..

Miss you grandma!!!

Wall Flowers

So, I saw these wall flowers a few months ago while out shopping with my sister. I so LOVED them and wanted them right then and there, but with some self control I resisted, but not until I showed them to my sister .. and told her oooohhhh so badly how much I wanted them .. hint hint (Christmas prezzie) lol Guess what I got for Christmas .. YAY!!!!

Today I got them up on the wall. This wall (yes, bad paint job - lol) is the wall you see when you come into my condo. I meant to put up a one of those Word To The Wall things my mom bought me and then put the flowers around it .. oops .. I will have to find another place for that one.

Retirement Album

So, I am doing up a retirement album for a lady I work with. She has worked at the same job for 40 years :-) I cant even imagine working at the same job for 40 years.


I wanted to do something nice for her. She is an awesome lady.


Here is the start of her album .. the first 2 pages so far. I am keeping it very simple.


She retires at the end of December and I hope to get this done ASAP. We are having a little retiremnet coffee/cake thing for her on Tuesday where I will get soem more cards filled out by people who were missed.


Then there is a group of us going out to dinner on Thursday night so I am hoping to have it done by them .. fingers crossed!!!

No use crying over spilled ...

BLING!!!!!!!!!

During our last on-line crop I organized my bling by color and then today, with one small brush of my leg against the box .. it tipped over (insert rolling eyes here).


It was nice to have it done by color .. blah .. now I gotta organize it again.

What a "Goofball"

Justin came down from his shower last night and asked me why he could get the towel wrapped around his hair the way I do mine??? I turned around and nearly died from laughing so flippin' hard!!!!!

All I Want 4 Christmas

All I Want 4 Christmas .. is SOCKS????????

You would think so by the looks of this! I came home from work 2 nights ago and this is what I saw. I asked him why he was wearing those .. to put them in the garbage. He claims these are the only pair of "clean" socks he has and that he was in a rush for school. He then told me that he had yoga during fitness class today and had to take his shoes off - LMAO!!!!!!! Remember your mom always telling you to wear clean underwear "just in case" ... well maybe I will have to remind him to wear socks without huge ass holes in them. He has about 30 pairs of socks so there really should be no excuses. He did end up doing his laundry that night .. guess he didn't want a repeat - lol

I HATE feet and can't believe I'm even posting this ..
