Lisa's March Cricut Challenge is to make something with at least 3 layers (which fit perfectly into KKKG sketch this week). There was a bonus entry if you make it with a cartridge you have never used before, however, I only own 2 cartridges so ... I know I know ... must invest in more cartridges for the bonus entries - lol. I used the storybook cartridge and cut out the square background with the little holes as well and the pink flowers and the green flowers on a stem.

KKKG challenge this week was to use this sketch.

So here is the sketch and my card. Sorry, I see now that the flower centers are not dry yet .. oops .. lol

Vision Board

I thought long and hard about what I'd like to have happen in the next 5 years.

I made a list (of course) and I spent the week finding pics from magazines and the internet to use on my vision board.

I'm extremely happy with how it came together. Looking at it, the only thing I seem to have missed was adding the date ... I should really add the date ... 2016 as my target date ... I think I will add it to the highway pic somewhere.

Now, to find a place to put it so I will see it everyday. I do have a 12x12 frame upstairs so I think I may put it into that and place it on my dresser or maybe the beside the fireplace in the living room.

My Vision (in random order)
- Healthier lifestyle and diet
- Take some photography classes
- To be happier overall
- Build better relationships with my mom and dad
- Overcome my fear of highway driving
- To be in to be crazy in love/relationship
- To have my line of credit at a zero balance
- To sell current condo and buy a 2 bedroom apartment condo that needs NO reno's done
- Advancement or new career

My 35th Birthday

Well, today is my 35th birthday. Mid 30's already. Man time sure flies by.

So far it has been a great day.

Had breakie with my mom =)

Heard from my dad =)

Heard from the "man" =)

Went to the casino =) ... =(

Received many many many bday wishes from friends and family on FB =)

My boy send me a b-day text (he's at his dads this w/e) =)

I won the KKKG challenge I entered last week =) Got to pick 5 KK stamps and also won a gift certificate to Michelle's Scrapbooking and More =)

I've been talking about doing a vision board the last couple weeks. My vision board will be a 5 year one. Where I want to be and what I want to happen by the time I turn 40 years old.

Now, that I've had my 12 x 12 piece of cardstock out since last night, I realize just how hard it really is. What do I want???? Where do I see myself in 5 years???? So far, this piece of cardstock is pretty darn white - lol. I'm sure it will all come together soon.

I will be sure to share my vision board once it is complete.

Retirement Card

So, the Spicy House guy @ the food court at work is retiring and a couple ladies I work with are really sad about that.

After 10 days

of straight snow this is now my back yard!!!

Now tonight on the news, they were saying that you need to clear the snow so that the meter readers can get through your yard with ease.

YIKES .. I don't even wanna tackle this back yard.

The snow stopped yesterday afternoon but it suppose to return on Thursday ... just great (insert rolling eyes here).
