I survived a Japanese .... Vacation

So, my friend Shelley loves to travel. This trip brings her to Japan .. she is visiting Tokyo.

Everytime she goes away I do something for her. I've done a little comic book, a Newspaper, a Journal. I was flipping through a magazine and saw a crossword puzzle all about celebs and thought I could do some research on Japan and do a crossword puzzle for her. What was I thinking - lol.

One night I was sitting here flipping through the tv guide. I saw that there was a show on tv called " I'm a celebrity, get me out of here". I was thinking this is the perfect title for the crossword puzzle and I could change it up a bit and call the crossword puzzle "I'm a government employee, get me out of here". A couple days later I was watching tv (yes, I watch alot of tv - lol) and saw a commercial for a game show called "I survived a Japanese game show", so I decided I would use that instead of the other title and change to "I survived a Japanese Vacation".

It took me a few days to get organized. I had alot of research to do online about Japan. I thought I would be able to find some free online crossword templates online .. I did .. however, once I entered everything into it. I went to print it and it said I would have to purchase it to print it (insert rolling eyes here!). I had to come up with another plan. I got some scrap paper out and started to draw boxes and organize all my questions and answers. Once I had that done, I went into word perfect and starts to draw boxes based on my drawings. Oh goodness (who's idea was this anyway - lol) it took a long time to get everything right.

Once I had it all done, I thought you know .. I'm a scrapper .. she's a scrapper .. I'm going to do a LO of the crossword puzzle. She always scraps her vacations. So, I did up this LO for her to do and for her to include in her Tokyo album.

I am happy the way it turned out. I sure hope she likes it :-)

TFL :-)

Wow, that was a fabulous layout and what a terrific crossword.

I sure hope you hid an answer sheet behind it.

Your girlfriend is lucky to have a friend like you.

WOW how great is this? I would have to go to Japan though cause I don't know half of the answers.
I think your idea about being a Go'vt employee is really cute too. Way to go Tammy - she will be in heaven! Robin/ mow180
